Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using PDFConverterAI (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

PDFConverterAI provides free tools across a range of categories, including PDF, image and text tools, SEO and web/network diagnostics, unit conversion, cyber security utilities, media downloaders, AI-assisted tools, and other utilities — see our tools page for the current list. Some tools run entirely in your browser; others send your file or input to our servers (or, for some tools, to a third-party service) for processing and return a result, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or process files you do not have the legal right to use, or that contain unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use automated means to abuse rate limits or scrape the Service at a volume inconsistent with normal individual use.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access for use that violates these terms.

4. Accounts

Creating an account is optional and is not required to use any of our tools. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate account information. We may suspend or terminate an account for use that violates these terms. See our Privacy Policy for what account data we store and the current status of account deletion.

5. Your files and content

You retain all ownership rights to the files and content you upload or process. We claim no ownership over them. As described in our Privacy Policy, files uploaded to our servers are processed temporarily and automatically deleted within about an hour, and are never used to train our own AI models. Some tools send your input to third-party services, including AI providers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. No warranty / use at your own risk

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Tool output (including AI-generated output) may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete — you are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them, especially for anything security-, legal-, medical-, or finance-adjacent (for example, password strength results or loan/BMI calculations).

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFConverterAI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss of data or files.

8. Third-party services

The Service displays advertising served by Google AdSense, some tools rely on third-party processing or data providers, and we use third-party infrastructure and email-delivery providers to run the Service — see our Privacy Policy for details. Your interaction with those third parties is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Changes to the Service or these terms

We may modify or discontinue tools, or update these terms, at any time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
